Treat DAO Community Update
Our “Soft Launch” is underway allowing creators some opportunity to get set up with livestreaming before more promotion. You can check it out now with the devan creator account which is running some looping video.
Tipping is live!
Implemented now on livestreaming in the subscription area, but coming soon to other parts of the platform. Users can tip in $Treat, BNB, or BUSD. Creators will receive the full value of the tip, but at least 20% will be in $Treat. The tipping contract routes a portion through the market to buy $Treat for the creator.
Treat DAO’s monthly publication is setting new records! Eliza Rose has been an awesome ambassador for the brand and the magazine featuring her has over 7,000 reads. We’ve sold additional advertising, now covering most of the costs associated with the publication.
Treat is proud to announce that Stormy Daniels is our June TOTM!
Stormy has sent in great content including a video interview. She has an enormous following and is expected to be in the news a lot this month. Also, Stormy will be including some physicals. The bra and panties from her photoshoot will be delivered to the winner of the auctioned NFT on OpenSea.
What’s next?
The near-term roadmap is very exciting! Here are some of the key things to expect over the next few weeks:
One on One Messaging — In addition to continued work on livestream and tipping implementation, the devs will be building additional tools to allow connection between creators and platform users. A next step will be one on one messaging which is under development now.
NFT Bridge — The team is very close to having a multi-chain NFT bridge tool available on the platform. Users will be able to move their Treat NFTs to other chains and other marketplaces like OpenSea. Initially Ethereum and Polygon will be available, but many more chains will be added over time.
Events — Treat was represented at DCentral in Austin June 7th and 8th, and will have presence at NFT.NYC June 20th — 23rd, and at the EXXXOTICA Expo in Miami July 15th to 17th as well.
MoonPay Widget — One of the biggest challenges has been conversion of potential customers into the crypto space. A MoonPay widget will be added to the platform to give an option to buyers to obtain some of the needed currencies for purchases and tips.
Token Bridge — The $Treat token itself will be bridged onto other chains, starting with Ethereum and Polygon, but including others as well as there is demand or interest from the community. We will work to utilize as many decentralized exchanges as possible to give access to new investors.
Exchange Listings — Similarly we are actively exploring and negotiating with centralized exchanges to get some exposure in that way. The tokenomics tax to treasury will be protected. The exchange listings will increase the token liquidity significantly and provide an easier onramp for many interested buyers.
Merchandise Store — We will present exclusive items with fresh designs from new vendors.
Outreach — There is a renewed focus on building our community and we will be exploring more ways to reach out like giveaways, AMAs and other marketing.
